You encounter another person's character in your travels, but something is awry! You strangers are being followed, but by who? Will you band together to help each other escape your mysterious pursuers, or see who runs faster?

Based on the RP with *MadMeeper, Strangers on the Mountainside.

A group of bandits has been terrorizing new arrivals on Kobekan for a while, and they make the mistake of trying to mug a knight and an assassin. Malotz and Kayahan get a little bunged up, but the bandits won't be bothering anyone else.

I'm still experimenting with colors, composition and lighting. This was my first time painting an evening scene, and it was definitely a learning experience. I made quite a few mistakes, but I did my best, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Done in watercolors.

Kayahan (the fluffy assassin) is mine.
