M-Kayahan-Arrival-1

You have arrived on the mountain! Unfortunately the mountain is very dangerous and your arrival won't be easy.

He woke to find himself at the edge of a cliff. Startled, he drew back and looked around wildly. This was wrong. He wasn't supposed to be here.

Standing, he looked out over the snowy expanse. A city glittered in the distance. The details of where he was, how he had gotten here, even who he was echoed in the yawning emptiness that composed his memories. He must have been... attacked. Or abducted. And drugged. And possibly left here to die.

He took a breath of freezing air. First things first. Get to the city. Find warm clothing. Find out where he had ended up. Go from there.

Travel was slow. The cold seeped through his thin clothes into his bones, flared up the arthritis in his knee. He held his arms around himself and shivered. One break, he told himself. One break, and then you keep going. Don't stop, or you'll freeze.

Fun fact: Kayahan was out grocery shopping when he was mysteriously transported to Hetherev. These are his civilian clothes. Hopefully he finds a coat before he turns into a paski popsicle.

I painted a layer of black over the trees and the mountain to leech the color out of the picture and hopefully make everything look colder. Dunno if it worked or not.
